This year is the 10th anniversary of the Startups Awards since it was launched in 2004. Â There have been quite a few companies that have gone from winning Startups Awards to becoming very successful such as Made.com and Cambridge Satchel Company. Â We have worked very hard to achieve this nomination and are delighted that Startups Awards 2013 was able to recognise us for it. Â Here is an excerpt from the website about our company:

"Inspired by all that makes Britain great and exclusively manufactured in the UK, all of its products are designed by Eggs and produced in small manufacturing companies across the UK. The business is run from Eggs' North London flat, and since 2011 its products have been stocked by over 100 UK retailers including high profile clients such as Selfridges and Foyles. The company also sells direct to the consumer through its website, making full use of social media platforms to build up a loyal and extensive customer base."

There are many aspects of our company that separate us from the competition and make our products stand out. Victoria Eggs Ltd is first and foremost a design led business. Unique, quirky and eye catching, we focus on a range of bold single colour designs inspired by elements of British culture such as traditional English dinners, London landmarks, underground stations, cockney rhyming slang, the Great British sea-side and English country gardens. Our products appeal to customers at home and abroad as they transmit a strong sense of all that is great about contemporary Britain.

Our products are of an exceptionally high quality; we use fine bone china mugs, 100% unbleached cotton textiles, 50% cotton Fabriano paper, premium inks and work with highly skilled and talented British based manufacturers. Â We are also very proud of the ethical credentials of our products, as well as reducing our carbon footprint by manufacturing in the UK we exclusively work with businesses who use environmentally safe processes such as water based inks, and have excellent labour conditions. We are also in the process of developing our textile range to offer many of our products in organic cotton.

We are dedicated to first class customer service and as a small business have developed excellent relations with our suppliers, distributers, stockists and customers to ensure we continually deliver a reliable and professional service.
