Crafted by Hand
Our textiles are produced by a family-run business in Lincolnshire with over 40 years of experience in ethically and sustainably producing printed fabrics. They are passionate about quality, provenance, and sustainability, continually striving to be as ethical and carbon-neutral as possible.
- Ethical Employment: The team has been commended for their fair employment policies, including employing staff with disabilities wherever possible.
- Sustainable Energy: Solar panels have been installed on the factory roof to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions.
- Wildlife & Wellbeing: The factory grounds feature a wildlife area with a pond, surrounded by over 300 trees planted by one of the founders, creating a space enjoyed by all employees.
Printing & Materials
- Ethically Sourced Cotton: All fabrics are fully traceable, sourced from accredited yarn suppliers and mills that are SEDEX-registered or STeP-audited by OEKO-TEX.
- Water-Based, Eco-Friendly Inks: Our textiles are printed with environmentally safe, REACH-compliant water-based inks, which are harder to use but leave virtually no environmental impact.
- Safe Cleaning: Any cleaning processes are environmentally safe, avoiding unnecessary chemicals while maintaining quality.
Hand-Sewn & Finished
Every item is individually hand-sewn by skilled UK seamstresses and hand-packaged using fully recyclable materials. We’ve replaced single-use plastic label ties with eco-friendly jute string, ensuring every detail aligns with our sustainability ethos.
Our textiles manufacturer is SEDEX-registered and SMETA 4-Pillar accredited, ensuring excellent working conditions and a safe, ethical workplace throughout production.
